CULT MALTA – NATURALLY FERMENTED FOOD & DRINKS
CULT is a woman-led business specializing in the creation of a range of fermented food and drinks. Born from a passion that was ignited in Australia many years ago after Katie created her very first jar of sauerkraut, she now procudes a range of products including vegan kimchi, different drinks and sauces and cashew cheese with an emphasis on being sustainable in every aspect of the business. All raw ingredients are sourced locally from organic growers and offers cash back for returned containers. CULT is a zero-plastic and zero-waste business. Katie recently started conducting workshops to share her knowledge with others.
GREENWORKS
Greenworks is driven by the mission to educate the next generation about the wonders of sustainability. They offer a diverse range of products and services. Their flagship product is the Gardening Kit which is a perfect starter-kit to introduce children to gardening. Jadean Taylor, the founder of Greenworks, also conducts educational workshops for children of all ages in Malta and in the UK, including scavenger hunts in nature, guess the seed game, and other engaging experiences.
MAYANA CREATIONS
Yoanna, the founder of Mayana Creations creates beautiful silver filigree and resin jewellery with unique contemporary designs using pressed flowers and a variety of other natural and organic pieces to compliment her jewellery. Using her creativity and talents, Yoanna creates fun and interesting craft workshops for young children with the aim of enhancing their imagination, motor skills and a positive perception of the world around us.
MSIDA MOSAIC
Heidi and Tina form part of Msida Mosaic team. Their artistic expression evolved on the use of chipped recyclable materials such as chinaware, glass and tiles to incorporate a low footprint and low maintenance. Small units are hand cut and assembled to form a pattern or a figurative image. A range of home decor gifts are offered to the consumer. Today, Msida Mosaic expended delivering mosaic workshops to create a community project of which will embark the open culutrual space.
YOGA YANICA MALTA
Yanica is a qualified yoga instructor who acquired her teacher training in India specializing in Astanga Vinyasa. Yanica conducts regular sessions including yoga, meditation and mindfulness. One of her popular workshops is the ‘Fun Fitness Yoga’ for kids, using tools to help them feel calmer, happier and peaceful. Her interest in holistic well-being helps her to inspire people to discover the benefits of breathing and moving mindfully.
