What is the Eco Market promoting?

The Eco Market is essentially promoting a sustainable lifestyle – a style of living that is safe, healthy and does not cause harm to people or planet.

When and where will the market be held?

The first market is set to be held on 25 and 26 May 2019 at the Gaia Foundation, Ghajn Tuffieha. You can follow our Facebook page or sign up to our newsletter from here.

Do I have to pay to visit the Eco Market?

No. It is FREE entrance.

Who is the Eco Market for?

Everyone! Whether you are a CEO, an employee, a student, a teacher, a tourist, a traveler, a housewife, a child…. sustainable living is for everyone!

Is the event suitable for children?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your kids as there will always be something fun for them to be entertained by or get involved in!

What can I expect from the Eco Market?

Beautiful nature grounds, a unique and curated selection of market stalls, amazing food & drinks, workshops, talks, kids activities, arts & culture, music, friendly people, and a positive, vibrant atmosphere.

What should I bring to the market?

We suggest bringing a refillable water bottle (we will provide free filtered water thanks to Water Point Malta) and re-usable shopping bags, containers and jars so that you may re-fill instead of using additional packaging. You can also bring your unwanted ‘junk’, including e-waste, that will be donated to Organizations for re-use and re-purpose.

Is there something I cannot bring at the market?

The market operates on a 100% ban on single-use plastic, including bags and bottles.
