in collaboration with Earth Week Malta.

Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April, from 10am to 6pm

Gnien il-Kunsill ta’ l-Ewropa, Gzira

For Earth Day we have teamed up with 19 other Organisations, and joined forces to create ‘Earth Week Malta’ to bring you a 2-day special event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day.

The event will be held in the beautiful urban garden of Gzira (near Ta’ Xbiex border) with the collaboration of Gzira Local Council and Mr Conrad Borg ManchĂ©, Mayor of Gzira and Chairman of ‘Ambjent Malta’.

What can you expect from the event:

A series of awareness-raising activities including presentation talks and hands-on workshops led by experts from the various NGOs and Social Enterprises.

Ongoing kids activities, including a workshop with upcycled musical instruments with Peter Paul of Tribali.

Music Entertainment with live bands including Meadow Strings and DJ Joseph Armani & son.

Clothes swap, books swap and a food swap too!

There is also a sustainable mobility programme around this event with participation and discounts from Transport Malta, Tal-Linja, Cool and GoTo.

The Eco Market will as usual feature a well-curated number of stalls with Eco-friendly and sustainable products and services across a variety of categories; including Fashion, Kitchen & Household, Beauty & Wellness, Personal Care, Innovative Green Solutions and much more. There will also be food stalls and food trucks with amazing and delicious vegetarian and vegan food.

Upon huge demand, we are bringing back the ‘Kids for Kids Market’ where children (ages 5-16) can be enterpreneurs for the day and sell their pre-loved books, toys, costumes, school-related accessories or the children’s own handmade crafts.

Eco Market is a regular event taking place in different locations across the country. To learn more about our upcoming events please SUBSCRIBE to our monthly newsletter. When subscribing, you will receiving the free e-book ‘150 ways to live a sustainable lifestyle’.
